The IC755CSS06RDA is a QuickPanel+ operator terminal that is formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent platforms (GE IP), now under Emerson Automation. This operator terminal is mainly used for implementing real-time machine or process visualization as this Human Machine Interface (HMI) can be downloaded with a custom designed graphics that represents the monitoring and control points of the system. This provides a highly-customizable interface that suits the requirement of the application.
The IC755CSS06RDA is a has a 6-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Along this colored screen are an array of analog-resistive touch cells that allows direct input of operator commands such as navigation, modifying of variables, control commands and other configurable actions. To send and receive data to and from the partner Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), this HMI has built-in One (1) RJ45 port for Ethernet I/P connectivity that supports 10/100 mbps transmission speed at maximum cable distance of 100 meters per segment. It also has One (1) 5-pin RS232 port that can be used for a maximum cable distance of 15 meters. Aside from communication interfaces, the IC755CSS06RDA has a total of Three (3) USB ports that is comprised of two (2) USB 2.0 Type A and one (1) USB 2.0 mini type-B interface. It is also provided with a removable storage card that is compatible for SD / SDHC card slot.

- This HMI has a Windows Compact Embedded 7 operating system that provides a user-friendly configuration environment. This operating system also enables some standard windows tools and networking capabilities such as command prompt, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and SNTP server.
The IC755CSS06RDA terminal is designed by GE Fanuc and it is part of the Quickpanel+ series. This kind of terminal is made to be used within industrial environments and it is an important tool for informing the operators about an application process and for providing the operators with all the necessary information about the operating status of the whole system. The unit is built for power sources with an input voltage of 24 Volts DC and it consumes 15 Watts of power maximum. The IC755CSS06RDA terminal has a 6-inch TFT LCD screen equipped with an LED backlight for high visibility. The resolution of this rugged and reliable display is 800 x 480 pixels. The terminal has a Freescale i.MX535 ARM Cortex A8 processor that runs on 1 gigahertz and a DDR2 RAM with a capacity of 512 megabytes. The additional memory includes 256 megabytes of SLC NAND ROM and 512 kilobytes of SRAM.
The IC755CSS06RDA operator interface terminal is equipped with multiple communication ports, including a 10/100BaseT Ethernet port (RJ-45), an RS-232 UART serial port, and 3 USB 2.0 ports. In addition to that, the IC755CSS06RDA operator interface terminal has a card slot that accepts SD or SDHC memory cards for storage. The dimensions of the operator interface are 192 x 137 x 36 millimeters (7.5 x 5.3 x 1.4 inches). The unit is designed for panel mounting but it can be also mounted with VESA mounting. The weight of the unit is around 0.8 kilograms or 1.7 pounds.
