The function of communication interface module MMS6823 is to continuously access the MMS6000 module connected to the bus through RS485 bus, and convert the received characteristic value data, alarm and module status data into standard MODBUS protocol. MODBUS output can be MODBUS RTU or MODBUS ASCII. And the received characteristic value data and alarm and module status data into the standard TCP/IP protocol, can be output through the Ethernet RJ45 interface. These data can be connected with the vibration analysis system or DCS, DEH and other systems access and call display.
The MMS6823 allows you to configure the configuration of the connected MMS6000 module. The RS485 bus and MODBUS output are connected via a 48-pin socket on the back of the module. The TCP/IP network interface is a standard RJ45 port, located on the rear panel of the module, and is connected using a standard network cable. The IP address of the MMS6823 can be set as required.
Data entry:
Connect the 48-core socket at the rear of the module to the RS485 bus of the MMS6000 system to obtain data of the MMS6000 module. The transmission rate can be 38400bps or 57,600 BPS.

Application:

With the addition of safety grids, the sensors and precursors can also operate in environments where explosion protection is required, in accordance with the relevant European standard EN 50014/50020.Working principle:
The eddy current sensor forms an oscillator with the preprocessor, and the amplitude decays as the sensor probe approaches the metal object to be measured. The magnitude of the attenuation is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object to be measured. The sensor and preprocessor have been linearly calibrated using 42CrMo4 calibration material before delivery. Therefore, no further calibration is required during installation. The user only needs to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the measuring surface until the desired signal is obtained from the output of the preprocessor.
