Hirschmann To meet the growing demand for switches, Hirschmann has developed the Open Rail series of managed and unmanaged switches. The OpenRail switch series allows users to choose between integrated or modular switches, as well as the number of ports, type of connected port (RJ45/ fiber) and speed, temperature range, with protective coatings, and various industrial certifications. Both integrated and modular switches provide redundant power inputs and fault signal contacts (triggered by power supply and/or port link interruption), while managed switches provide media loop redundancy, multicast filtering //IGMP Snooping, VLAN, port mirroring, network diagnostics, and port control.
Hirschmann Integrated Switch: The integrated switch can accommodate 26 ports on a DIN rail of only 35mm. This type of switch has two model series of managed and unmanaged (only RS20-04 switch series is no more than managed).
