The PXIE-6556 is a digital waveform generator/analyzer with 24 single-ended digital pins capable of generating or collecting digital data or dynamically performing DC parameter measurements. The PPMU Settings for each channel can be individually programmed, making the device highly flexible and configurable when generating or collecting digital waveforms.

The PXIE-6556 also features measurement hardware comparison for bit error testing, DC voltage and current parameters, and advanced digital timing per pin. In addition, the device features high-capacity onboard memory with trigger and mode sorting capabilities that provide real-time hardware comparisons, data latency, scripting, and onboard high-resolution clocks.
