REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device, as a dedicated feeder protection and measurement and control device, is specially used to protect, control, measure and monitor public and industrial distribution systems. Reference 615 can be adapted to both neutral ungrounded power grids and neutral resistance or impedance grounded power grids. In addition, with the advanced inter-station communication function of the device, REF615 can also be used for ring mesh distribution network or radiation network protection. The protected power grid includes multiple feeds and distributed generation.

REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device has 12 standard configurations, which are suitable for common feeder protection and measurement and control applications. Reference 615 is characterized by its support for substation IEC61850 communication standard, parallel redundancy protocol (PRP) and high availability seamless redundancy protocol (HSR), in which IEC61850 communication standard includes IEC 61850-9-2 LE. This relay also supports DNP3 and IEC 60870-5. Profitbus DPV1 protocol is supported by spa -ZC 302 protocol adapter.
