The Harmonic Drive Systems SC-500 and SC-510 series servo controllers have been designed to drive the RS- and FHA-series AC servo actuators. Three basic units with nominal currents of 2.5A, 5A and 7.5A are available. The digital control principle and the 16 bit feedback operation allow a very smooth velocity behaviour even at a very low speeds. A variety of adjustable operating modes via the setup software enable various different applications in connection with typical CNC, PLC and stepping motor controllers. In addition, the SC-510 series is capable of single or multi axis control using ASCII sequences sent online via the RS-232 or RS-422 interface of a PC
