The National Instruments SCXI-1325 can easily be mounted on the host module’s front panel through mating connectors. The NI SCXI-1325 offers 250 Vrms channel to ground and channel to channel isolation. This High-Voltage SCXI Terminal Block is suitable for a broad range of applications since it provides a comfortable and straightforward system for connecting and disconnecting signals to and from the user’s system. The SCXI-1325 offers direct connections to transducers located at front-mounted BNC connectors or the screw terminals.
While operating in 1 MΩ common mode, the NI SCXI 1325 offers ±50 VDC DC rejection capacity and 0.16 Hz 1-pole RC corner frequency. By using this Terminal Block, the user can connect each output channel of the SCXI-1124 independently for current output or voltage output. In this configuration, each channel can have a CMV up to 250 Vrms between itself and chassis ground or any other channel ground. For ensuring high-accuracy, the National Instruments SCXI-1325 has an isothermal construction. Equipment with accessible live parts should not be used with the device terminals. This model supports 26-14 AWG maximum field wire gauge and is a 250 V, CAT II device.
The NI device has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C, a storage temperature range of –20 to 70 °C, and a non-condensing relative humidity range of 5% to 90%. The SCXI-1325 is designed to comply with the following electrical safety standards: IEC 61010-1, UL 3111-1, and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1. Also, the signal wires for the highest input voltage must be insulated when the device is being used with high common-mode voltages.
