DESCRIPTION
This unit cannot be removed or inserted with system power energized unless the area is known to be non-hazardous.
An I/O loop assessment must be completed on all energy-limited nodes.
A keying system ensures compatibility between a CHARM and the CHARM terminal block when the CHARM is installed on the terminal block. This product must be used only with KL4505X1-EA1 LS DVC CHARM Terminal. Both CHARM and Terminal have fixed keying preventing any other combination.
HART DTA (HART Digital to Analog Converter) is a device or component of the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) protocol. It is mainly used to convert between analog signals (such as 4-20mA) and digital signals. HART protocol is an open communication protocol for high speed channels of addressable remote sensors, which allows digital signals to be superimposed on analog signal lines, thus realizing bidirectional digital communication between intelligent instruments and control systems without interfering with analog signal transmission.
HART DTA equipment or components are commonly used in industrial automation systems, especially those applications that require high precision measurement and monitoring.
