Connection of outdoor cable terminal heads
The cable terminal is suitable for the manufacture and installation of outdoor terminal of lead-covered oil-impregnated paper insulated power cable with a cross-sectional area of J-coil less than 240mm2 below 10kV.
The connection process and precautions for cable ends are as follows:
1, the construction process must be installed in accordance with the relevant rules.
2. The construction site should be dry and clean, and the surrounding temperature should be above 5℃.
3. The cable head must be used after one-time continuous cutting and stripping.
4. The distance between the live lead part of the 6-10kV cable terminal head and the ground is more than 200mm.
5, cut lead (aluminum) work should ensure smooth without burr, and must use special tools into a horn shape.
6, the semiconductor shield paper should not expose the lead (aluminum) flap.
7, wrapping insulation tape should be along the core insulation wrapping direction, all take half pack, insulation tape layer should be tasteless, no wrinkle.
8, aluminum core cable and wiring terminal (or stem) connection: the method of crimping.
9. The connection between copper core cable and wiring terminal (or wiring stem) : the epoxy resin terminal head shall be crimped or welded. During welding, the stripping size of wire j paper insulation shall be 15mm plus the depth of inner hole of wiring terminal; The other three terminal heads should be welded.
10. When porcelain box or full-foot cast iron box is used, the reinforcement hoop must be installed before lifting the epoxy resin cable terminal.
11, the installation of iron parts must be galvanized.
