The VPL-B1003T-PJ12AA is essentially a Brushless AC synchronous servo motor. It is designed with the capability of implementing Allen-Bradley’s single cable technology using the 2090 series. It comes with an integral support for Hiperface protocol and primarily features low rotor inertia and capable of reaching up to 6750 RPM. It is installed with an 18-bit absolute multi-turn digital encoder which support the Hiperface DSL protocol. This built-in encoder functions as the motor’s speed feedback.
The VPL-B1003T-PJ12AA is a 400 Volt class motor with an output power of 2.37 Horsepower or 1.77 Kilowatts. It has a continuous stall torque of 4.18 Newton-meters (37.0 lb-in); peak stall torque of 11.15 Newton-meters (99.0 lb-in) and an output speed of up to 4750 RPM. It has a rotor inertia output of 0.00012 kg-m2 (0.0010 lb-in-s2). This motor weighs 4.45 kilograms (9.80 pounds).
The VPL-B1003T-PJ12AA does not come with a shaft seal installed. With this, user may separately acquire the appropriate shaft seal for this motor which is the MPL-SSN-A3B3. Shaft seals are primary used to prevent process mediums or material, from entering in motor internals. Additionally, shaft seals especially nitril made seals comes with a lubricant to reduce motor wear and tear.
