XVME-212/2

The XVME-212 Digital Input Module provides 32 digital input channels. This module features programmable scanner circuitry that can detect a change-of-state on any of the 32 input channels. The
XVME-212 eliminates the need for the host processor to constantly poll the digital I/O to obtain signal transition data. Upon an interrupt transition, the module can notify the host processor by generating a VMEbus interrupt.
This module is ideally suited for interfacing to pushbutton or relay contacts. It contains input debounce circuitry with eight jumper-selectable debounce intervals, and an isolated on-board 12 V supply. Also provided are 300 VDC of optical isolation and 50 VDC reverse bias protection. It will accept input voltages from 10-50 VDC.
The XVME-212/2 eliminates the on-board DC/DC converter and provides for TTL-level input signals.
