XVME-220

The XVME-220 Digital Output module is a 32-channel, digital output module designed to be used in VMEbus systems. Each output channel is opto-isolated from the system bus and each uses an open-collector configuration to allow a maximum load capability of 30 volts and 100 mA. All outputs employ transient suppression circuitry to minimize the possibility of damage due to high-voltage transients occurring in the output application circuit.
The 32 output channels are arranged to form 4 (byte-wide) output registers. The output registers are addressed consecutively, allowing the output channels to be accessed in either the “byte” or “word” format. To add to the integrity of the system, default initialization will disable all outputs both on system power-up and during a software reset.
